An aquaintance of mine recently sounded off on facebook on how much he felt the left is being too mean to the people who lost the election of 2012 with the reelection of Barack Obama.

My first thought is that we went through the exact same thing when Bush won over Kerry in 2004.  In the most mean tactics ever, they character assasinated him, with questions about his loyalty to the US even though he was a decorated, yet outspoken veteran of the Vietnam War.

Not to mention that most of the left feels very strongly that Bush stole the election of 2000 and was never really a legitamate president, over the will of the people.

 Many of the left also feels that Bush was responsible for the 2001 Terrorist attacks, and used it as a rallying call to attack a sovereign country with rapidly changing reasons to do it.  Also outed a CIA agent because her husband poked holes in the initial causus belli for the path to war.  Killed many people and also ruined the economy doing it.  Not to mention that it was an illegal war and an immoral war because it was based on horoscope predictions of the future rather than actual offending actions that took place.

Then there was another loss that the democrats suffered and it was basically JFK in 1963 which caused the loss our feeling of safety from our government.  If they can kill the democratically elected DEMOCRAT then they can kill anybody.

While the RIght claims of "left wing Media Bias" is commonplace it is actually the right that has its fingers in shaping our popular culture, with movies like Batman, Actually all of them since 2000 and probably before.  They are all a not so subtle rah rah version our version of America is AWESOME, because we will FIGHT.  American exceptionalism etc etc blah blah.  ITs everywhere from these colors dont run to Don't mess with texas don't retreat, RELOAD.  NRA
